WHAT OPTION-O REPRESENTS

If there’s one thing to know about OPTION-O, it’s this:
their mission is to create coffee grinders that are beautiful, produce delicious coffee, and are built to last.

OPTION-O was founded by a team of engineers-turned-coffee-enthusiasts in Melbourne, Australia — a city at the heart of specialty coffee culture.

In 2016, OPTION-O began developing their first grinder and established their operations in Melbourne.

By 2018, they expanded with a workshop in China, allowing OPTION-O to build a more efficient supply chain and strengthen their product development process.

Today, OPTION-O continues to grow globally, working with distributors such as café-corner to bring grinders closer to customers and ensure local support.

All OPTION-O grinders are wholly designed, developed, and owned by OPTION-O.

Supporting competitors

We understand that preparing for competitions is a deeply demanding process that requires a significant commitment and investment of time, focus, effort, and resources.

We (café-corner, for option-o and in Switzerland) aim to support competitors by:

  • Providing clear information about competition grinder specifications (following SCA official announcements)
  • Offering technical guidance related to grinder setup and use (additional videos and resources will be shared here)
  • Listening to feedback from competitors to continually refine and improve our tools

While we can’t advise on recipes or competition strategies, we’re always happy to help with questions related to grinder, setup, and workflow.
